I think it was unfair and unreasonable of the Libyan parliament to dismiss the Prime Minister so quickly as he will have barely had enough time to do anything effective, and I think they are putting themselves in a "leadership crisis". I believe that there will be great disarray both in the government and on the streets of Libya that will ensue for at least another couple of months. I predict that this will all culminate involvement from outside Libya, American or otherwise. I believe that what has happened is a result of months of tension and confusion in Libya that was set off by the controversy over 'Innocence of Muslims' video, capitalized by the killing of the American ambassador of Libya. Failure to deal with all this chaos is probably what caused the parliament to dismiss the prime minister. A parallel to this event occurred in Egypt where a mob invaded the US embassy and burned the American flag in response to the 'Innocence of Muslims' video. This event is also quite relevant to what we have been talking about in class in regard to leaders gaining and loosing legitimacy, as former prime minister Mustafa Abu Shagour(pictured below) lost legitimacy due to his ineffective leadership of the government.

- Do you think the parliament made the right decision and what do you think will happen as a result?
- Is it right for America or any other country to get involved?
- How long will it take for the disarray in Libya will continue?
