The Food and Drug Administration said that big companies that produce popular sleep medications, lower the recommended doses for women, because of recent data showing that some people stay impaired the morning after taking the drug. Studies showed, that driving about 8 hours after taking the drug, increases the chances to getting into a car accident. Some people even said they experienced a lack of mental awareness after using those sleeping medications. After looking at the situation, The Food and Drug Administration decided to have the companies that create the sleeping drugs, lower the doses to about a half of what they were before so everyone can be safe.
