Apples new iphone 5 will there be an iphone 10?
The new Iphone 5 is about to arrive! The rough date of the release is this Wednesday but the million dollar question is how long will the iphones continue? How long will Apple be here? What’s to come for the future of Apple? Makers of the Motorola Samsung think Apple’s days are numbered. The Samsung employees think eventually they will make one giant stumble, which will be their last stumble. The employers of Samsung think that ipods will be the first to fall but only the future and time will tell.
In my humble opinion, I believe that we will learn to be completely dependant on technology and will learn only to survive through our devices.

I think you are completely right Molly. To your point of us becoming to dependent on technology, I think we already have. Just think about all the Smart Boards and other technology in every classroom. When they suddenly stop working, it is like the whole class comes to a complete stop. While I see how the technology makes it easier for us to have access to information, I also strongly believe that, eventually, the technology might also be our downfall.

ReplyDeleteApple is an incredibly valuable and influential company across the globe, and it showed its continued strength when the release of the iPhone 5 attracted international attention. However, the company has flexed its muscles not only on the global stage, but also in the courtroom. Recently, Apple was rewarded $1.05 billion in damages for Samsung’s patent infringements. With this in mind, I don’t think it is likely that Apple is on its way out. While Samsung is undoubtedly a legitimate competitor, Apple was the first to come out with a smartphone. They have patented many of the iPhone’s unique and groundbreaking features. The above article brings up an interesting point – is the patent system being manipulated? In my opinion, the hundreds of patents that belong to smartphone-producing companies like Apple are over-the-top, but necessary to a point. I don’t believe that companies should be allowed to steal ideas from one another, but I think that they should be able to build off of others’ ideas in order to further the sophistication of the technology. With the way things are now, it is primarily the company that originally created a product that has the ability to improve upon its design. With the indisputable success and popularity of the iPhone, I think that an iPhone 10 is a very probable possibility.
Regarding dependence on technology, I personally do not believe that these new inventions are bad things. While some of their features can seem showy and unnecessary, many of their capabilities are very practical for everyday use. Yes, we may have become somewhat dependent on these things, but the same thing could be said for basic telephones, cars, or medicines. I personally don't see any reason why useful technological advances would cause our downfall.
